Afl in crises mode game is not what it was invented AFL FIX IT

 ok I have lot to say about this i have played and watched the AFL for over 20 years 

i started following the west coast eagles in 1986 then my 2 cousin captain them for 2 years Murray Rance

over the last 5 year i think the sport has lost it art form 

the day of 100 goal ff have gone the bumps are all but  dead and buried and now the tackling i

i.e. if a player hits his head on the ground will get suspended a Bump that hits the players head suspended 

and this sliding for the ball and take the players feet out suspended or free kick what ever happened to first to the ball

oh my where has the game gone it has always been a contact sport i think the Afl are trying to stamp aal contact out of the came to cover their ass from law suits from previous players either run out of money or no job after football 

maybe they should develop a path way for these players so when they hang their boots up they have a job to go to yes they wont get the money like their playing days this is where the AFL should guide them on how to look after their playing days money

now as for me the AFL have gone to much athletic in stead of a general football brain they got guys at 191cm in the middle back in my day these were rucks chf fullback full forward .

And the  midfielders were 178 to 180 cm and wingers and pockets 

majority of teams would play one on one so you would get the likes of Carey vs Jackovich 

Matera vs Platton these days in no longer in operation players have lost the art form of staying with that player all day and when it comes to your turn make sure you do  your best to beat your opponent

and oh my the amount of missed goals in front of the stick is unbearable to watch  from 30 meters in front players who get paid a lot  shouldn't be missing man even i could kick 30 meters in front of sticks 

i did like the 6 6 6 rule at bounce but then it disappears through out play and becomes flooded thank Sydney for that 

i wouldn't go far as zoning like the Auz kicks but maybe on team just stay in position maybe if your in the forward line just stay their so when the ball turns over your already loose hahaha

but for me the way the game is going i may not watch any more ps the stand rule is an absolute a joke get rid of it for god sake a player moves of his line play on 

also when a player gets tackled and just dropped the ball in tackle should be incorrect disposals of the ball haven't seen these been paid forever as most umpires in AFL say came out in takle well sorry you had prior to get rid of ball before you got tackled 

if we are going down the non contact sport maybe bring in the 6 6 6 Auz kick zoning like soccer so a free kick awarded when a player is of side and 4 umpires what a waste of time and effort 4 umps still get the interpretations wrong the days of 2 umps was way better with more flow yes some frees weren't paid but a better flowing game compared to the garbage their making us watch these days my rant over 

now some help  for the back line this dump kick that goes out of bound called deliberate is stupid they got no control maybe you should pin the rucks for deliberate when they punch it out of bounds 

i feel for the backs  we could hold around the waist and spoil no they cant even do that chopping of arm i agree but if its a spoil and they don't get them high should be play on not a free 

game keeps going like this im out 

one frustrated AFL supporter as i like to watch all teams the game has gone extremely backward in my eyes this is not the game that was invented stop ruining the game
